Urban Foodie: La Petite Adresse

La Petite Adresse is an incredibly trendy restaurant with a fantastic menu and super cool ambience. I was lucky enough to dine there with my husband recently and we will definitely be going back!

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the warm, inviting atmosphere - very chill and laid back. I ordered the onion soup to start, a personal favourite of mine, and I was not disappointed - the broth was superb, with just the right amount of gooey cheese on top. For my main course I had the salmon, which was prepared with a delicious blend of spices and crusted with black pepper, and it was served with a rich, creamy butter sauce and mashed potatoes that were healthily prepared with olive oil. Fabulous! My husband opted for the mussels, one of their popular dishes (which we saw other patrons thoroughly enjoying), and he absolutely loved it. We were really full when we finished our meals, but we still couldn't resist the urge to try out their desserts. There was plenty to choose from, but we went with the crème brûlée, which was prepared to perfection (definitely satisfied my insatiable sweet tooth). Not only was the food freshly prepared with the best ingredients, but it was plated so beautifully we almost didn't want to eat it (haha, but we did!).

The next time we  go there (and we will go again... trust me!), I'd like to try their nicoise revisitée with grilled tuna (doesn't that sound amazing?!).

I also have to mention our server Karim, who was undoubtedly one of the best servers I've ever had. He was extremely polite and professional, as well as friendly, and I can honestly say it was by far the best service I have received in awhile.

When you go to  La Petite Adresse, you should also peruse their selection of homemade jams and other great products - they are prepared in-house by their French chef. They're great to bring home or give as a gift.

I truly enjoyed the entire experience at La Petite Adresse, and will be recommending this charming restaurant to all of my friends.
