Healthy Life: And just like that, 2020 has arrived!

At the end of every year I like to make a list of highlights that I am grateful for, and I make a list of goals that I want to accomplish in the coming year – resolutions that I try to stick to throughout the Year. When January 1st comes around, we might feel ready to set new goals. But as we get further into the New Year, it feels harder to stick to them, doesn’t it?

The reality is that we should be our biggest cheerleaders when it comes to driving our goals. So, making time for our goals and feeling motivated absolutely help us to stay on track. It is time to stop worrying about what others think and instead, create resolutions based on what is most important to us.

And try not to underestimate the impact of small changes! Small improvements can be incredibly powerful over time. Imagine that if we can improve by one percent per week over the span of a year, that's a 67 percent annual improvement – pretty amazing, huh?
Here are just a few of my personal resolutions written out as statements for the start of the new decade that I’d like to share with you:

I will give myself more compliments.
I will surround myself with people who inspire me.
I will choose happiness instead of chasing it.
I will de-clutter my life.
I will invest in myself.
I will learn to say "no".
I will be kinder to myself.
I will love myself with no criticism, negativity or self doubt because without self love you have no love to give.
As 2019 comes to an end I want to say ‘thank you’ to all of you for being part of the LYNQ community.
May we have 20-20 vision of clarity, harmony and prosperity for ourselves, our families and the world.
