Family activity of the week: More fun March Break activities to finish the week

There are still a few days left of March Break, and there are still lots of fun activities to take part in before the reprieve ends.

Don't forget that the Butterflies Go Free exhibit is on at the Insectarium, and while you're there, be sure to check out activities going on nearby at the Planetarium as well as Olympic Park/pool. Exporail in St. Constant has a great March Break calendar, where kids can experience the buzz of excitement surrounding the Circus Train in America and search for circus animals and performers hiding in various vehicles.

Stewart Museum has special events planned for kids who are off school, and so does Redpath, where admission is by donation and visitors can embark on a dino expedition - visit their paleontology base camp and take in a presentation on dinosaur excavations, museum specimens and field work. The Chateau Ramezay in Old Montreal will be teaching children about breadmaking - churn your butter, add starter and flour, sprinkle it with sugar and dried fruit and you’ve got a tasty snack to share with friends! Or, on the weekend, stop by Voiles en Voiles for their new wintertime setup!

President's Choice stores will be giving immersive cooking workshops for children ages 6-11, where they'll get to create entire menus, plus have lunch and snacks, do arts and crafts, so much more. Chapters/Indigo will also be hosting themed events every day of Spring Break, so check with your local store for times.
