Family Activity Of The Week: Hanukkah activities for all

We're in the midst of celebrating Hanukkah, and with such a vibrant Jewish community in Montreal. there are lots of great family-centric activities to check out. Here's how to enjoy the festival of lights:

Hanukkah cooking at Provigo Pierrefonds. This is suitable for slightly older kids (ages 6-11), where little chefs can make potato latkes, apple smash and dreidel brownies.

Hanukkah party in Westmount. Taking place on December 6th from 5-6:30pm, the city of Westmount, in collaboration with Congregation Shaar Hashomayim and Temple Emmanu-El-Beth Sholom, invite the community to celebrate the festival of lights. Candle lighting and a reception will take place at the Lawn Bowling Clubhouse, followed by ceremonial lighting outside City Hall. Friends from all backgrounds, faiths, and religions are welcome.

Federation CJA has several events going on centred around Hanukkah, including a celebration on Saturday, December 8th from 3-7pm, in honour of the 7th day of Hanukkah. Come and light the candles together, have some refreshements, play games, and more.

Calling all parents: Montreal Alumim is hosting a Parent's Night Out Hanukkah Party on Saturday, December 8th from 6:30-8:30pm at Camp Kinneret-Biluim (5555 Westminster Blvd).
