Family Activity Of The Week: Celebrating the holidays around town

Photo: McCord Museum

December has arrived and that means lots of fun ways to celebrate the holidays. From magically-themed museum exhibitions to super cool pop-up events, not to mention visits with the big man himself, be sure to check out some of these festive events by celebrating the holidays around town.

Visit with Santa Claus. Lots of malls have beautiful setups where kids can get a photo with St. Nick. Here's a listing of places to see Santa.

Go to HideSeek on St. Denis. Get lost in immersive installations that let you feel like a kid again. Get tickets here.

Discover one of the many museums offering a full slate of holiday and winter activities. Exporail in St. Constant on the South Shore is always a wonderful place to learn and explore, and it's even more enchanting during the holidays. The McCord Museum also has some fantastic exhibitions for Christmas.

There's no better place to enjoy everything winter has to offer than on Mount Royal. Browse around the Les Amis de la Montagne for a schedule of events like tours, skiing, tubing, skating, and so much more.
