Family activity of the week: A day trip to Old Montreal

Before the warm weather starts to fade, round up the family and head to Old Montreal for a full day of fun activities. There's so much to do there these days, with something for everyone!

Have you seen the giant 1200-foot zipline or 80-foot jump experience (the first urban free fall device in Canada)? What about Voiles En Voiles, where you can climb to new heights on their varied rope obstacle courses that span between two life-size pirate ships, or play on their bouncy houses and climb their rock wall?

There's also the SOS Labyrinthe, a unique treasure hunt where you can explore a two-kilometre maze filled with obstacles and traps, patrolled by mischievous and confusing characters, as well as the Montreal Science Centre, which not only features fun hands-on exploration rooms for children but traveling exhibits (like the current Dreamworks exhibit) along with different IMAX movies. Shop along St. Paul Street, buy local artwork or take in a performance from a busker in Jacques-Cartier Square, rent a paddleboat or family-sized pedal bike, or go on an Amphi bus tour! You can easily fill the day, plus you'll have access to some of the best food in the entire city (from the restaurants to the waterfront food trucks).
