4 Cool camps to check out for this summer

OK, so it's just starting to feel like spring, but parents are already booking their kids in summer camps in and around the city. Here are four of our favourites.

4Cats Art Studio NDG

Does your little artist have a penchant for creating things? Then the 4Cats camp is for them! Throughout the day, kids are given the opportunity to choose their own projects from a variety of mediums, which encourages a love of learning, independence, creativity and artistic flow. Artists are encouraged to follow their own interests, and will earn badges as they participate! The studio also offers a wide range of classes as well as workshops for all ages.

Debate Camp Canada

Debate Camp's allure and magic is in its mix of activities - they believe that learning is best served by engaging students in an academic experience, while at the same time ensuring they feel empowered to take risks. They offer daytime as well as overnight camp options. However, in keeping with their 1:8 staffing ratio, most camps are only able to fit in a limited number of campers, so they recommend registering early!

Tamakwa Family Camp

Tamakwa Family Camp is the ideal way to cap off your summer! The weekend has a little something for everyone and is a great way to either ease first-time campers into the amazing world of overnight camp or just have one last weekend of fun together before the school year begins. Whether you went to camp decades ago or never had a chance to experience the great outdoors in the past, Tamakwa Family Camp is the answer!

Quadrilium Tutoring

In addition to their spring camp, they also offer a summer camp with carefully selected themes that are both educational and fun. These include "Off Off Broadway," "Genius Einstein," "Little Picasso," and "Globe Trotter."

All of these camps offer a special when you present your MList Card.
